The MSR story
MS Recycling has been around for over 60 years. It all started with a small scrap metal business in Frankfurt.

For owner Christian Jungk, recycling is more than just a business—it’s also a question of attitude. He worked for many years in the social sector at Werkstatt Frankfurt and actively brings this sense of responsibility to his company.
At MS Recycling, it goes without saying that we also offer opportunities to people with disabilities. We create jobs where others often see barriers – with patience, compassion, and a firm belief that every person can make a valuable contribution.
In cooperation with Schottener Sozialer Dienst, we also employ people who are integrated through this social service provider. It is a long-standing partnership that stands for active inclusion.
The family foundation also plays a central role: members of the founder’s family are still active in the company today and stand for continuity, value awareness, and active responsibility – as they have done for generations.

- Recognised primary treatment facility in accordance with § 21 ElektroG for preparing waste electrical and electronic equipment for reuse (EBA VzW) and for removing harmful substances and separating recyclable materials (EBA SW)
- Verification in accordance with ElektroG, GewAbfV and Verification Ordinance
- Secure data destruction in accordance with DIN 66399 (for old IT equipment and files)

Questions and answers about MS recycling
Waste and recyclable materials are collected, sorted and separated after disposal. Harmful substances are then removed from them. Old electrical appliances, for example, are shredded and the materials are recycled separately and reused in the manufacture of new products.
Residual waste is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Scrap metal is collected and resold so that it can be recycled and used as a raw material for the manufacture of new products.
Raw materials are therefore not removed from the cycle and we make an important contribution to sustainability and resource conservation.
